ASWB New Board Member Training Online Sessions

This two-part training series helps social work regulators prepare for their work as jurisdictional board members and is appropriate for new ASWB board members and board staff. 

Both sessions will be conducted live via Zoom. All you need is a computer with an Internet connection. Registration will close on May 19, 2023.

Topics covered during the training include:

• Board operations/Applications and renewals
• Delegation, rulemaking, conflict of interest
• ASWB programs
• Discipline and sanctions
• Current issues

Live sessions will be held:

Thursday, June 8, 2023, 1:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. EDT (session 1)

Friday, June 9, 2023, 1:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m. EDT (session 2)

(30-minute break each day)
