Get Involved: Leadership Opportunities with ASWB Online Session

Designed to deepen knowledge of ASWB governance structure, this training will help attendees learn more about elected positions and the role of committees. We'll explore the duties, time commitment, and election process for positions on the Nominating Committee and Board of Directors.

Topics will include:

• Distinguishing the roles of the Board of Directors, staff, and committees
• Identifying the responsibilities of the ASWB Board of Directors and those of a 501c3 nonprofit governing board
• Understanding the commitment and skills needed to effectively serve in ASWB leadership roles
