Designed to deepen knowledge of ASWB governance structure, this training will help attendees learn more about elected positions. We'll explore the duties, time commitment, and election process for positions on the Nominating Committee and Board of Directors. This session, originally scheduled for the 2020 ASWB Education Meeting, has been moved online.

Topics will include:

• Distinguishing the roles of the Board of Directors, staff, and committees
• Identifying the responsibilities of the ASWB Board of Directors and those of a 501c3 nonprofit governing board
• Understanding the commitment and skills needed to effectively serve in ASWB leadership roles
