International Federation of Social Work Regulators (IFSWR)

This meeting is being co-hosted by the Association of Social Work Boards and the British Columbia College of Social workers and is being held in conjunction with CLEAR’s Sixth International Congress on Professional and Occupational Regulation Conference, June 27-28, 2019.
The purpose of the IFSWR meeting is to give social work regulators the opportunity to exchange information, build collegial relationships, and share commonalities and differences in social work regulation around the world. There will be an important IFSWR business meeting immediately following to explore the future vision and purpose of our group.
Tentative Agenda:
- 9:30-10:00 am: coffee/ tea and registration
- 10:00-12:00: morning session
- 12:00-1:00: lunch provided
- 1:00-3:00: afternoon session
- 3:00-4:00: business meeting
In addition, the CLEAR planning committee is organizing training on other topics that may be of interest to you:
On Tuesday, June 25 at the Vancouver Regional Symposium - Cultural Awareness: Valuing Indigenous and Minority Populations in Professional Regulation and on Wednesday, June 26, the focus will be on International Regulatory Research.
